304 stainless steel ERW pipe is an SS 304 (UNS S30400) product made from a flat metal strip. Rollers form this steel strip into a tubular section before joining the edges together. Electric resistance welding fuses the metal securely without using any external filler material during production. We cut to your lengths, finish the surface and ends to the drawing, and ship with a Material Test Certificate. Buyers in Muscat, Sohar, Salalah and Duqm use the pipe for water systems, building frames, food plants and industrial fabrication.
SS 304 ERW pipe is welded 18-8 austenitic stainless pipe with 18 to 20% chromium and 8 to 11% nickel. The grade carries three common designations: UNS S30400, EN 1.4301 and JIS SUS 304. In the ERW process, cold-rolled strip passes through forming rolls and closes into a round section. High-frequency current generates heat at the strip edges, which are then brought together under pressure to form the longitudinal weld. The weld bead is then trimmed, and the pipe is annealed and sized.

Round ERW pipe is the base product. Water lines, process headers and structural frames all use it, and it takes standard fittings without adaptation.

In your request, specify which ones you want, such as ASTM A312 for process piping, or ASTM A554 for ornamental, mechanical, and light architectural frameworks. The selection of the grade is based on the operating conditions. The chloride-rich marine or desalination environment requires an SS 316 with 2 to 3 % of molybdenum.
